Ole, ole… let the holidays begin! We need to recharge our batteries, detach ourselves from everyday life, break the rhythm, have fun, get our dose of vitamin D, get a tan, discover new places and enjoy our vacation, right? I admit, when it comes to vacation, I immediately think of the sea, so I can't wait to walk barefoot on the beach, I can't wait to feel the sea breeze through my hair, I can't wait to enjoy a sunset bathed in the sea.
If you agree with me and have already planned a beach vacation, all that's left to do is prepare for departure. Quickly pack small items like toothbrushes and toothpaste, small cosmetics that don't take up too much space in your luggage, a sunscreen lotion, a few make-up products (if you use them, ideally transfer-resistant), some sunglasses and possibly something to cover your head to protect you from the strong sun. Also pack some phone chargers, possibly an external battery, your travel documents, cards and cash, then focus on the most substantial part of your luggage.
You know what I mean, right? Exactly. I'm referring to the underwear that will accompany us on our trip . If when I arrive in places without a pool or sea I usually pack one pair of panties per day and one or two bras for a week's stay, when I go to the beach things change. To be sure that I have everything I need and taking into account that I go to the beach a couple of times a day, I pack one or two pairs of panties per day and about two or three bras, one or two that match my evening outfits and another for the whole day.
Oh, I almost forgot. Pack a cool summer pajamas and a couple of cotton T-shirts , you'll need them when you take a nap in the afternoon and don't necessarily want to get into your pajamas.
Regarding clothes, I know you might want to take your entire wardrobe with you, but you know that doesn't make sense. Rather, think about where you're going, how many days you're staying, what the weather is like, and take some light, airy clothes with you that will give you a sense of freedom because we're talking about vacation, right? Not for nothing, but I think our focus needs to be elsewhere this time because the centerpieces of your beach vacation luggage are your swimsuits. Why do I say that? Because you'll spend most of your time on the beach, at the sea, or at the pool, so think carefully about what swimsuits you're taking with you. And before you leave (some time before, let's say a week or two) I wholeheartedly recommend that you try on your swimsuits and not wake up like me at your destination with nothing to wear. No, I didn't forget them at home, I just couldn't bring them. One was already too small and, as much as it was my favorite, it didn't show me in my best shape. I admit, I would have liked to have a few kilos distributed differently, but I also know that if I had been a little more careful before packing, I could have definitely gotten a swimsuit that would have flattered me and emphasized my best features. But that's another story. The second swimsuit I took with me (I usually don't take just one) was the perfect size, except that I somehow lost the detachable straps from the bra and was basically left with only usable panties. Needless to say, I discovered the "miracle" right when I was about to leave for the beach... and you can imagine how good a mood I was in on the first day of vacation. I sorted it out on the spot and chose from what I found, carefully taking the pennies out of my pocket (not a few) because you know how it is with these items in holiday destinations. What antibacterial material or quick drying? I said okay thanks because it was opaque and that it fit me in size.
The swimsuit is our basic outfit during the beach vacation, you know what I say? That's why it's good to focus on this part and have at least two outfits with us, maybe even three, and of course they should fit us. So for a beach vacation, I would go for a full-body swimsuit and two other two-piece suits that we can combine with each other. All of them are high-quality. This way I know that I've secured myself with a few good outfits, that I like, that fit me well, that are made of premium materials, that dry quickly, that don't sag, that don't move when you're in a hurry, and that don't cause me irritation. In the middle of the hot season, with strong sun, sand, and salt water, can you imagine how "good" I would feel if I woke up with some beautiful irritations from the mother of fire? Therefore, I highly recommend that you pay attention to this aspect and that your swimsuits are made of materials with antibacterial properties. And if they are also resistant to UV rays 50+, sea and pool water, sunscreen creams and oils, and do not fade in the wash, that's perfect.
And now, a quick recap of what we specifically pack when we go on vacation to the beach. As an idea, I based it on a week of vacation for what I've listed below:
- Swimsuits (minimum two) full or two-piece, now as you prefer. You will find here a variety of models, with prints, with floral or geometric motifs, animal print , in several colors or plain, some more beautiful than others, all of superior quality, just as it should be. See that some of them are also on sale.
- Vacation underwear – one or two pairs of panties per day and two or three bras to match what we have in our luggage. If you are also preparing to leave and want to renew yourself, take a look here , you can choose from hundreds of very comfortable underwear models and from the best quality materials.
- Summer pajamas and cotton tank tops for a nap, whether it's day or night. A pair of pajama pants , for example, goes perfectly with a cotton tank top, so you can combine them however you like, you know what I say?
- Good luck and beautiful energy
And to make sure you haven't forgotten anything you decided to take with you, make a list and check before you leave that everything is in its place, in your luggage. Until next time, have a nice vacation and a nice tan!
