How to choose the perfect swimsuit - depending on your body shape, various models

Cum aleg costumul de baie perfect - în funcție de forma corpului, diverse modele

Can you believe we're already talking about summer vacations? And here we are, we can't help but get to our favorite topic: a new swimsuit. And not just any swimsuit , but the perfect swimsuit for us, one that we'll love and that will show us off in our best shape.

The truth is that many times our vacation depends on this swimsuit. If you have found it, the one that fits you super well, that looks exactly to your taste and that you feel incredibly good in and your mood will be on point, so it is worth paying maximum attention when choosing our swimsuit. I know that the one from last time "works" or "maybe it's still good", but a new one is definitely welcome, especially since we also change our preferences like that, from time to time.

No matter what you choose, a good swimsuit :

- It must be comfortable. It may be the most beautiful visually, if it embarrasses you, it is not the right size or the material does not blend well with your skin, it would be better to look around and find the right one for you. You should not have emotions that you will stay in Eva's suit with every movement and instead of sitting relaxed and enjoying the sun, you should be on the alert all the time and have to check from time to time if it is still in place. If it is too tight, it is not ok. This also applies to the bra. So study the size chart carefully when making your new purchase.

- It must be of quality , made of an opaque material at first glance, but also at second glance, when you have come out of the sea and not only that. A material with quick-drying properties, fine, thin but opaque, with high elasticity; resistant to UV rays 50+, sea and pool water, sunscreen creams and oils will make the difference. And also take into account the color resistance to washing or perspiration. Discolored suits do not look good at all, regardless of the reason. And definitely make sure that the material they are made of has antibacterial properties that reduce the rate of bacterial development on the skin, by not favoring the retention of moisture, sweat and water on it. You considerably reduce the risk of various conditions such as skin irritations or infections.

 - It should make you smile when you see yourself wearing it and be able to say "this is the perfect swimsuit for me."

 - It adapts perfectly to your needs , regardless of your body shape.

So, let's see how we choose our swimsuit based on our body shape.

Let's start by saying what we mean by body shape. If you think that body shape is only about how many kilos we have (plus or minus), know that it's not really like that. Yes, maybe the ideal would be for us all to have only slender figures, generous busts, wasp waists, a flat stomach, long legs and a prominent butt. In real life, however, you rarely find someone who has it all. And let's not forget that even if we had it all, it's not impossible that we would want something else.

In fact and rightly so, the shape of our body is given by our bone structure and muscle mass and not necessarily by the extra or minus kilos. Basically, the proportions of our figure remain the same regardless of our weight. All the time the larger part of the body remains larger and the smaller part remains smaller, you know what I say?

And so, based on our body shapes, we, ladies and gentlemen, fall into one of the following categories:

- Apple – Basically, you can see with the naked eye that the upper part is larger than the lower part (a triangle shape with the tip down), the waist is large, the legs are thin and the bust is generous.

The most suitable for this type of silhouette are dark colored one-piece swimsuits with bikinis that cut out a lot on the hips or one-piece swimsuits that beautifully even out the abdomen. The suits that most benefit this type of silhouette follow the principle simple at the top, dark colors, possibly straps behind the neck and wider straps because a generous neckline needs proper support, colored panties, in light or vibrant shades, plain or with prints, with accessories such as ruffles or side bows.

- Pear – here it's exactly the opposite (triangle shape with the tip up). We have prominent thighs and hips and a smaller bust, so the emphasis should be on the upper part of the swimsuit, regardless of whether we are talking about a one-piece or two-piece suit. Basically, we want to create volume in the bust area to balance the situation. What helps us in this case? Push-up bras , generally models that attract attention at the top, in light or strong colors and with prints. For the lower part we can choose as simple as possible panties, with a medium waist, in a single color, ideally as dark as possible.

 - Rectangle – here the waist doesn't really show, somehow it's almost at the same level as the shoulders and hips, which is why the most suitable one-piece swimsuits with patterns or prints that give you the impression of a smaller waist. One-piece swimsuits with small cutouts on the sides of the abdomen also fit very well. As for two-piece suits, oblique straps are effective. And in this case, depending on the size of your bust, you can opt for bras with support and straps if your bust is larger or a push-up bra if your breasts are smaller.

 - Hourglass – small waist highlighted by the fact that the shoulders and hips are wider. In this case, two-piece suits are perfect. You can go for solid colors or strong prints, and if you choose a full suit, a generous cut that highlights your waist is welcome. Also pay attention to what type of bust you have (smaller or larger) and choose a bra that does the job.

And now, let's take a look at other physical aspects that can matter when choosing a swimsuit.

We talked about a smaller or larger bust a little higher, as well as the abdomen. I also think it would help to get an idea of what swimsuits to wear if we have a flatter or more prominent butt and, of course, depending on our height.

For example, I am very tall (1.81 m) and have a flatter butt, so from experience I can tell you that the piece de resistance in this case is bikinis, which work great if they have ruffles or side bows and don't completely cover the back. If I had a more generous butt, bikinis with geometric patterns would be my thing. Regarding "my height", is there any point in telling you that I would donate a few more centimeters? It wouldn't be the first time I've told my childhood friend (who is short) that I would trade a few centimeters for bigger breasts. We would both agree. She would also like slightly longer legs... Until one thing, another, the key is to choose the swimsuit well, me in such a way that I don't look even taller, and she can give the illusion of height through a swimsuit with a V-shaped neckline or by choosing a high-waisted bikini.

With our body shape we have figured it out, we are now free to choose our swimsuit according to our clothing style. Should it be a Happy Floral, Digital Geometric, Etno Style or Urban Jungle swimsuit? Take a look here (you have hundreds of models to choose from) and find the best one for you!

After all, diversity is beautiful, and no matter what your body shape or clothing style is, there's a swimsuit for everyone. We just have to look around and pay attention to the details that make the difference. Of course, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow you'll see us at the beach and in the sun, right?
