Maybe you're saying to yourself "there's no way" and I understand you perfectly. I've been through this too. Now there was order in a way, everything was more or less organized, after 2-3 days this and that, but after a week chaos sets in again. Sometimes you have the impression that things are getting messy on their own and, no matter what you do, in a short time you have a déjà-vu: you reach the point where there's a mess in the drawer again and you never find that pair of panties or bra that you need "right now".
I don't know about you, but as far as I'm concerned, the truth is that I was also "to blame" for this mess. They are small items and, quite often, due to haste - which is not for nothing that they say ruins the job - or inattention, no more order, it's gone!
But I've learned my lesson in the meantime and I want to give you some tips that may be helpful.
So, let me share with you some good habits to keep in mind that have been helpful to me:
1. Say goodbye to some! You definitely deserve something better!
- Say goodbye to items you don't wear or that are no longer what they used to be, say BYE!
- If there are broken, faded, stained or other forms of wear and tear items in your drawer, say BYE!
- If there are any that cause you discomfort, tell them BYE!
- If they're still small, a year has passed and they're still there, say goodbye to them!
2. Group them into categories according to their "destination", use dividers or put them directly in the drawer:
- The ones you wear every day
i. Bras to one side (recommended to be closed before storage to avoid snagging other items)
ii. Panties elsewhere
iii. And so on
- Those for special occasions (same as above or even by color, as you prefer)
- Articles for sports activities
- Your favorites - they might be worth storing in laundry bags
The most frequently worn items should definitely be placed in the most accessible place. This way you avoid having to rummage through everything every time.
3. Keep things tidy!
Whether it's a new item of underwear or one that's just been washed, put it back in its place immediately every time (the next day is also acceptable, as long as you don't say "let me put it back tomorrow" again tomorrow). I know that the habit doesn't take root overnight, but the more you discipline yourself and the more you maintain your good habits, the easier it will be for you to easily find what you're looking for, without getting upset that you can't find this or that in any way. Plus, you'll save precious time.
And that's about it with the organization.
It's not a big deal, but if you do these simple things, you'll be surprised to see how cluttered your wardrobe was and maybe you'll wake up like me - with a half-empty drawer. Don't stress, we look at the glass half full, we have room for new ones
You'll find thousands of items here , for all tastes! See what suits you!
